Why Soy Wax?

We use Soy wax which is 100% biodegradable, vegan friendly and derived from natural vegetables rather than petroleum-based paraffin wax.  Soy wax will also generally burn longer, cleaner and release fragrance better.

 

How do I use wax melts?

Simply place 1 or 2 wax melts into your warmer and enjoy hours of fragrance. If using a tea light warmer, we recommend using an unscented 4 to 5-hour tea light underneath.  Always ensure that you never leave any candle or tealight unattended.

 

Do wax melts evaporate?

A wax melt does not actually evaporate, the fragrance is released when the wax is melted, so once you can no longer smell the fragrance it is time for a change! A wax melt can be used several times before needing to be changed.  When you can no longer smell it, simply remove, and add a new melt.

 

How to remove wax melts from warmer?

There two tried and tested ways to removed wax melts, the first is to heat the wax melt for a couple of minutes and then it should simply slide off the dish (we would suggest having kitchen paper on hand to assist).  The second way is to wait until the wax is melted and then add cotton wool balls which then absorb the wax for you to then dispose of.

 

Can I Return an item?

1. We are happy to accept returns for unused, undamaged items if you so wish within 7 days of you receiving your items.
2. Please email is at aperfectscent21@gmail.com if you wish to return any unused, undamaged items to us and we will advise you of the returns address.
3. We will issue a full refund of the item cost once received and inspected.
4. Refunds are issued within 10 working days electronically using your original payment method.
5. Postage & Packing charges for items shipped are non-refundable.
6. A Perfect Scent will not be liable for returns shipping costs.
7. All returns must be received in good condition and saleable. Items returned in a poor condition will not be refunded or replaced free of charge.
